Every factual error we have corrected on the site or in a brief, dated and sourced. The existence of this log is the editorial commitment; an empty log just means no corrections have been needed yet.
If you find a factual error in a brief, a guide, or a page on this site, email [email protected] with: the URL or brief reference, the specific claim, and a primary source for the correction (federal rule, peer-reviewed paper, NSF standard, state DEP publication, etc.). We log every accepted correction here within 7 days of verification.
A correction is a change to a factual claim, a threshold value, a citation, a date, a percentage, the spelling of a person or organisation. Editorial style changes, rewording for clarity, or expanding a section with new sourced material are not corrections and are not logged here.
